Given time to reflect on life, only then do I realize how blessed I truly am. All these materialistic needs constantly shroud what’s really important. I always find myself sidetracked by all things eye-catching and alluring, but I’m never really content with what’s already in my possession. It’s funny how we only realize these things once it’s too late, isn’t it? It shouldn’t have to be so hard to find value in what we already have. Though it’s nice to stop and smell the roses, it doesn’t necessarily mean you should stop and pick every single one that appeals to you. Go home and tend to your own garden before your roses wilt.
